I just watched Dingle's version of the cig thru quarter and absolutely loved it. He uses a gaffed quarter that looks like it has a bullet hole in it. He says the trick is called smashed but I have no idea where to find it. Any help on this would be appreciated. No, I don't own a gun!

Smashed was put out by Tom Niesen of Mystic Madness quite awhile ago. I believe it is Tom's routine and idea for the coin, too.
Mystic Madness was the first company to come out with a line of gaffed cards in poker size back in the 1980's. Formerly it was all Fox Lake bridge sized cards. Tom made a deal with the Aarco Card company to make DFers, blank faces and backs etc. Don England made all the gaffs for Gaffed to the Hilt in Aarco cards. These cards became the rage among card men for awhile. Finally US Playing Cards began to make gaffs in Bicycle and these became favored. US Playing Card Co. (the Bicycle people) finally bought Aarco. They have also bought Hoyle. But I digress.. I may have some of the Smashed coins around here somewhere. I used to have a box with at least 30 or 40 coins w/pencils. Tom Niesen also marketed the very first version of my trick, Holey Terror in the early 1980's and he gave me a bunch of coins at cost. I'll post again if I find them. I used to give them away after performing the trick because I had so many! Mike
