Brain Breach dances impishly at the crossroads of classic and modern mentalism. Two thoughts are used to generate a high security passcode and demonstrate just how vulnerable we all are.
This beautiful, compelling routine explores (and then exploits) the one weakness in all our security. The human element. In true Ken Dyne style, the routine combines an underused principle and piles on layer after layer of subtlety that seemingly disprove the very method you are using, making this an impenetrable mystery of thought reading. Detailed in pain-staking detail with full script and handling, this routine is ready for you to drop into your performing arsenal right now. EFFECT: A number of people are asked to write a single password onto pieces of paper. The papers are collected and one participant is asked to locate his paper from among those handed in, along with a random one belonging to someone else. Now that he knows both parts of the code he has become the most vulnerable link in the security chain; which you prove by revealing both words. The plot is fascinating and compelling, the method is dumbfounding and the reaction is mind blowing. This special release also includes: The 'Cat Among The Pigeons Principal'. Ken's thoughts on selecting environmentally suitable material. A full script for Brain Breech Anybody familiar with this. Any reviews. Best Steve

I just finished reading this.
It is very good. You have a presentation that is relevant to modern audiences. You have a clever use for an old magic prop most magicians have buried away somewhere. And best of all you have a clever logical disconnect for a classic principle of mentalism that can be used elsewhere. It is a practical trick and has a couple of clever wrinkles that I really like. This is exactly the type of thinking I hope to find when I buy a mentalism product. Ken Dyne is a worker as well - so this is practical material that you can use straightaway. If you are interested in this trick - you will be delighted with the method. Joe Mckay |

I really like Ken Dyne. I wonder if this requires a larger audience, like his (wonderful) E1.
Please check regularly if you are becoming the type of magician Jerry Seinfeld jokes about. (This applies to mentalists as well.)

An audience of 60 is the ideal number. You can make it work with more or less than that. But this is a trick where an audience of about 60 would be ideal.

Ok, thanks. How about an audience consisting of people that know eachother and speak afterwards, like colleagues from a company? In E1 that would be problematic.
