Marion, I’ve been looking at your videos on Vinny’s site, and I’m trying to better understand the difference between your Copper Silver INC and your Jumpmandu. Both look great. But is CSI sort of an expansion or elaboration, so to speak, of J? Or are they fundamentally different in some way? In other words, if someone bought CSI, would they also need to buy J separately in order to understand and perform it also? Or if one has CSI, then is J sort of “implicit” within it, if you know what I mean?

Hi Karnak, and thank you for your question, it is a good one. 😊
Behind my long fascination with copper silver effects and the coin itself, I would say that yes, “Copper Silver INC” was a seeming natural progression from “JumpMandu” for me, a lot of thought went into both climbing upwards. I was at a point with Jump that bounced me into better position in eventually coming up with CSI, if that makes any sense? 😁 Jump uses some of the same moves and some different ones but my thinking at the time was to show a quicker pace “jumping” of the coins from hand to hand. I think it worked pretty good but my thinking as to what I wanted to see, wanted specs to see, was something even more, something a bit clearer and measured yet even more deceptive, so I eventually came to slow it all down and presented it a bit more interactively. I trimmed the fat and behind more confidence as to the moves and heightened understanding of the casual deceptiveness of the Liwag Subtlety, I would say that my thinking and presentation sorta evolved as to some even more confident differences between the two effects. I think they both offer a lot to consider as to moves, presentation, and purpose. I always wanted to show two coins magically changing from hand to hand, and I think with CSI I came closer in a more open way to even more magically showing that. The whole pursuit of both effects is really worthwhile study as to timing, misdirection, and method. So, to better answer your questions, while I don’t get to CSI without JumpMandu, you most certainly can. 😉 And thank you here for your wonderful words about both pieces. I truly appreciate it, and hope it leads folks to checking out them both. Thank you. 😊

Just just had to say, I was playing with this again behind happening upon this string and questions from Karnak, and it really is a lot of fun, so deceptive from beginning to end.
I did it for some folks (actually for a bunch of other waiting dads) while at a mall here, while waiting for my wife & grandson to come out of every store there. Folks were just blown away by the immediate changes and openness of the effect from beginning to end. I've played with many copper silver effects, but this one is my favorite because it is differently put with magically instantaneous changes of the coin from hand to hand, and then offering the coins immediately out for inspection. I put the 2 coins right in this lady's hands and she just couldn't stop rubbing those coins and shaking her head. What fun! https://vinnymarini.com/index.php/produc......ver-inc/
