A nice package with great routines.
https://www.murphysmagic.com/product.aspx?id=65901 Description: The opener from one of the busiest magicians in Latin America. 3 x 1: Three routines for the price of one! Routine 1: The magician says: "Today I'm going to show you the very first trick I learned." He shows a card folded twice. "I want you to name any card." The spectator replies e.g. "Six of Spades." The magician says "I never hit" and he shows that it's the wrong card. He says: "I've been trying this for years and I always miss," while he shows a transparent bag full of folded cards. After the laughs he says: "It's very hard to divine a card, but it's harder to catch a thought." He throws the cards from the bag into the air -- among the "showers" of cards, he catches one folded card. He unfolds it and shows it's precisely the named one! Routine 2: You perform the classic "52 on 1" gag and, as a finale, you show a prediction that matches exactly the freely thought-of card! Routine 3: A spectator chooses a continent and then he freely chooses ANY country. After a very funny gag, you show a prediction that matches exactly the freely chosen country! Ideal for parlour, stage and M.C. All the materials are custom made. You can use any deck (not provided). This is the perfect opener. Packs small plays big. You receive: Custom made gimmick Five specially printed "continent cards" Transparent plastic bag Large Manila envelope Jumbo "World Map" Jumbo "52 on 1" card Video download with performance and step-by-step explanations. |

I hope it's a better index system than Skynet!

Funny how they cut out the important part of the effect isn’t it? Not only have you got to locate the card via an index system but also perform some kind of mercury card fold. No thank you.

Yeah, they cut the most important pat of the effect ! Crazy ! Nobody should buy all these effects with such video teasers...

I think the cards in the index are already mercurized.
Look at his right hand going into the cardboard box at 00:28. This hand then supports the plastic bag from underneath. Yes, there is a jump (cut?) after this, but the work is already done, so... ?? I can not see that they are hiding anything metod wise. Great opener though! |

I guess the card has been folded in any index system they have been using on this prop. Just curious how good is the index system on this one.
