"Special Delivery" is one of the first magic items I've ever bought. I still remember how I was impressed.

However, I haven't used it much because I have to carry a bunch of envelope to perform this.

I don't know if it's still available, but David Regal's Special Delivery was an independent reinvention of Roger Curzon's envelope. I believe Regal has acknowledged this.

Second, as for the provenance of the gimmick, when it was released (Meir Yedid bought the rights decades ago) we received TWO you-did-not-invent-this emails. One credited the brilliant Roger Curzon (and I recommend his work on the gaff) and another credited the prolific Sam Berland - who put his out something like 40 years earlier. My handing was different, but the gimmick was exactly the same as his "Devil Dollar" (he used a bill). Roger's gaff is slightly different, but, as I say, mine was exactly the same as Sam's. So I get no credit, except perhaps for some handling touches.
