His books are the last word on the subject? Does that mean someone can't dissect the book into individual tricks and sell them for $10 each?

I have a lot of Jon's works and they are certainly "Top Shelf" but "Last word on any subject" is subjective. I have been recently researching ideas with the Mene-Tekel deck (and principle). https://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/view......&start=0 Nate Kranzo's material on the subject came up a lot (on the thread and thru several PM's from different members) as well as a book or two on lybrary.com .
I actually came up with more great ideas than I know what to do with. That said--- I will still be purchasing Jon's book, thanks for the heads up and... Do you happen to know when it will come out on Lybrary?

No, his books can't be dissected now.they haven't fallen into public domain yet.once there they can be reworked, improved, embellished,routined,combined,etc.by anyone who feels he can contribute to the effect(see THE MARK WILSON COURSE IN MAGIC.the material was culled from public domain)....by "last word",(it's a common use of slang, it's not meant to be literal)he usually researches everything on the subject,thru Alexander and his vast library.then he documents the "best" of the effect in all of its known permutations, like a collection.see his past works on single effects and you'll get the picture...we'll retract the above opinion(mine alone)and settle on "highly informational"...don't know the release date, keep an eye out for it.he's been moving and that has set him back a bit...and no, I don't get a part of the sales...
