Wally, if you have small hands, then you waited to long to obtain a hand dye tube. I suggest you learn to use the Palmo correctly until you get use to it. I suggest you switch to Rice's Simplex tube, it has rolled edges, but only made to work with 12" silks. Contact Rice's Supreme Magic studio, to see if they still have any in stock.
Whay, because you waited to long. Morrissey was the last metal magic prop company to make Dye Tubes, they are out of business for several years now. Anything you find now is a collectors item and will cost more then you care to spend. I have several tape dye tubes, only sold in pairs from the Late General Grant, made by Morrissey. They have rolled ends. You can contact me if you are interested to buy at $200. I have hand Tape Dye Tubes by Ken Brooke, Johnson Products, General Grant ; Morrissey Magic. My first Dye Tube was the Rice Palmo, I was about 12 years old. Once you you get use to it, you will never like any other model. |

I like to use Vernet Dye tube as it can be used for bigger silks but still easy to hold the gimmick.
