Hey guys, just thought I'd share again (long time members will know what I mean). This time it's an impromptu 3 trick set I've been having fun with.
It's a borrowed deck that is shuffled and I open with Vernon's Emotional Reaction. I emphasize the affinity to that card and go into Lorayne's Your Favourite Card - a very strong two card transpo that exploits said affinity. Now two cards are in play- their favourite card and mine. I place an unknown card between them and have a third card selected by another onlooker and close with Lorayne's One Eyed Jack Sandwich. Now all three of our cards are together. It's a good strong impromptu set anytime anywhere. Putting together these little card sets is a hobby of mine. Maybe I'll share more another time. Keep having fun. And keep reading. Fish. |

Blindside, the trick is called the two-card trick by Harry Lorayne and I have attached a link to him performing this trick.

This is an effective impromptu set that
doesn't take a lot of time, only uses 3 moves, and gets a good reaction. |

Magicfish, thanks for taking the time to share this. Mike Close also has some really good things to say about three trick sets that is worth checking out. Every performance has a beginning, a middle and and end, so three tricks makes perfect sense.
It's never crowded on the extra mile....

Very nice set, opened up my copy of Special Effects and loved the simplicity behind Your Favourite Card
One Eyed Jack sandwich has always been a favourite of mine, I was recently rewatching Frank Garcias lecture and you can watch him doing an ace variation of it here https://youtu.be/xFJqY2lolGg?t=921 |
