We recently saw a presentation by Peter Samuelson where he demonstrated The Phoenix, a trick where the tip of a tissue is burned and then "magically" corrected. I can't find a reference on that. Does anyone know where to find it? thanks.

Also, Sameuelson's Phoenix appears in the (discounted) Cool Box on Penguin Magic fairly often. If you keep an eye on the Cool Box, you can probably buy The Phoenix there for less than $15.

It looks like Peter Samuelson is offering a full routine (+ some associated props),
but, if you were just interested in doing a burn and restored (or even the ashes on the palm), these are standard offerings found in many books/dvds. But again, if you want his whole routine, than buying his product is the way to go. John
