You are going to make mistakes. Also, being smooth on stage comes from learning to move through slight unexpected things that will happen once in a while in a show. So there is something to be said about this: a performer is not born, but made, from many performances. You have to learn from the things that didn't work well and also to learn what really kills.
I use very short effects around town to practice new things and to stay in a "performing" mode. As long as people enjoy it , we both benefit. |
