Remember, this is not the story of a psychic who has become a scammer.
This is a scammer who is pretending to be psychic.

However, I think it is rather clear that by the time Ruth walked in the door, Zoe was definitely in the scam business. Reprehensible behavior, and from the sound of things, no fair resolution. |

Yes there are.
No they won't. Why would they share that info with you?

Also, why do many magicians just assume that all psychics can predict the future?
That's like thinking that all card-workers can do mentalism.

It's indeed a sad story.
There are scammers and crooked people in all walks of life. A scam psychic wouldn't make it beyond a week in the metaphysical community. They'd be rejected quick. I know, I've seen it happen. When some people in our magic and mentalism community think of psychics they immediately think of frauds, scammers, and criminals. They don't think that way when they think of lawyers and doctors, yet there are fraud and crooked doctors and lawyers out there as well. As an example, one famous lawyer was recently sentenced to prison for a shakedown and for ripping his clients off. Anyway, next time some of you think of "psychics", think of a psychic reader like Richard Webster, a caring, compassionate person who enjoys helping others. Try to avoid the temptation to immediately label any "psychic" as a fraud.
