I have heard that ketchup cleans silver coins really well. You can always try to silver polish and metal cleaners.
However, if You’re trying to clean copper coins, note that they will tarnish quite sooner than expected. |

I've used ketchup on brass and copper and was surprised at how well it worked. You can use 0000 steel wool along with ketchup for any highly tarnished stubborn spots. I was concerned the steel wool would damage the surface but using 0000 grade it was no problem at all.

Ketchup is a new one. I will have to try that.
Toothpaste works. Also, the watch repair place at the mall sells shining cloth that shines your dull coins. Ultrasonic Cleaners work Great but are not cheap.

I was surprised at how well ketchup worked, especially on brass.
