Thanks again, everybody, for all the good wishes and prayers.
Everybody who had symptoms is currently clear. The wife is home. Her isolation in the bedroom ends tomorrow. The enforced four week "vacation" is officially over tomorrow. I go back to work, 2 to 9. I would complain about the short hours, but the as lethargic as I'm feeling right now, I should ease back into Walmart. Again, thanks to everybody who's been following this.

So did you end up testing positive?

I know a lady who works in the local Post Office here who tested positive and she was not allowed back to work until she had been given an all-clear test. She said she only had a mild illness. Our postman, by the way, is now leaving our post outside and knocking the door.

If we have a package in the mail, our postwoman brings the box to my front door or garage if it's open. The she goes back up the 40' driveway, gets in the truck, drives 4 feet and puts the regular mail in the mailbox.

I went to work yesterday. My manager asked if I would accept some extra hours because so many people have called out. I needed the hours, so I said "sure." Now, I'm looked at a six day week before another day off.
I'll say this, the four weeks I've spent at home have taught me a valuable lesson. The lesson is; I really, REALLY want to be retired!
