Hi fellow Magis,
I have many LDS (Latter Day Saints) friends and would like to show them a few things that could tie into the LDS faith. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! |

My thought is they are not considered a Christian organization so why promote their beliefs

-born-baptized-brought up Methodist (Grandfather was a M. Pastor). Now 83,attend any Christ teaching Church - LDS is the Morman Church = they are a Christian Church- Paul said '"don't criticize -as long as one believes in the saving grace of our LORD "- I am not a Morman - but I appreciate the fact that they always watch out -help those in need or just to keep in touch. I say this because as a youth - after loss of my father -Churches mainly helped on Holidays or when asked -if, even then. Morman, always 365 - there. Possible, any gospel effect would be appreciated - remember teachers use puppets-flannel board - etc. even Magic effects (no such thing as JUST MAGIC)- to illustrate Gospel Verses and ideas - just my penny worth. To Russo: Yes they are good people that are helpful and kind but here is how they feel about Jesus from Christian Apologetic Ministry, "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, known as the Mormons, believes and teaches that God the Father used to be a man on another planet, that he became a God by following the laws and ordinances of that God on that planet and came to this world with his wife (she became a goddess), and that they produce a spirit offspring in heaven. These spirit offspring, which includes Jesus, the devil, and you and me, are all brothers and sisters born in the preexistence." God was never a man on another planet.

I didn't know that, all my 82(83 in June) years. I'll just leave them to OUR FATHER - I remember one time when my wife told me they came to the door - she invited them in and while talking almost Converted THEM --L-O-L Thanks for the reply. Always learning. Ralph (russo) Rousseau
