I often see in this section, requests for info on Magic Tables that will pack up for travelling.
Here's a vid I made of possible tables. With little or no oppourtunity to perform at the moment, and lots of time, hopefully there's some info here that may inspire one to make a more suitable table for themselves. Happy Woodworking https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEX7Z9tYWno&t=450s . |

There is quite a bit of good information and inspiration from that last folding table. Thanks for posting this.

Thanks for sharing the video, that’s an amazingly well thought out and executed table design. How long did that last table take to actually build?

LOVE, love, this elegant design. These Swiffer Dry & Wet($12) may be a reasonable option for extending poles for the table base. Four for under $50. Not quite dollar store, but they're pretty strong and break down pretty well.

Was perusing old busking table posts and just had the same "private video" result that Magic Mark did and wanted to second his request to make it public again. I have seen the video and remember the table well. It's SWEET and although I'm all set for a table for myself right now, I'd love to see that video public again. Unless you pulled the video because you're marketing it or marketing plans for it -- which I'd totally understand and support -- I know there are a lot of folks who haven't seen it who would really appreciate seeing your great design in action.

Hi Steve and Mark. Sorry you haven't be able to see the vid again but.......
Long story short...the bit of music in the vid I got off a site for Royality free music..... apparently isn't & someone claimed ownership. Not just me but everyone using the clip had to take it down. I used the editor to replace music but messed up & permanently lost audio. On top of that someone who believes my showing the tables is revealing magic secrets, I think keeps launching complaints (flagging) to try and take it down. Sigh. Sorry lads :-( |
