I totally agree with your point #3. I think magicians are simply so used to giving the spec their signed card as a souvenir so its become a habit or mindset, so strong that they have now come to believe that you HAVE to give it to them as if spectators are expecting you to, which is silly.
While there are some specs that will keep that card until their dying day, most won’t. If you hand out 100 spectator signed cards at an event, probably 90% of them end up in the trash. The vast majority of spectators are not that enamored of having a card with their own name on it. Having a card with the magicians name on it or even the date will be more appealing as a souvenir in many cases. A card with your signature or date of the event, and then also slap a sticker with your contact info on it and it would seem a much better souvenir for the spectator. |

Looks nice but I prefer using bonsalopes with the red seals (loaded with JOL small plus wallet).
It’s my permanent everyday wallet. I always have it loaded, carry money, cards and a couple of pocket tricks. Even worked with bonsalope which was in there for 6+ months. Much more impressive to hand that out and have them rip it open and keep card. (After they already saw you open the zipper and bring out out of the inside of wallet) |

Good and honest review Craig. Thank you.
I always enjoy and trust your product opinions as you don't feel obliged to follow the trends or keep up the hype. Your frankness and transparency has made you some enemies over the years, but I know that when I buy something you recommend, it will be a good value, and a worker.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

What I mean by that is I don’t work for a magic shop and I buy everything I review. Nothing is sent to me. I feel no obligation to lie about a product and have no loyalty to anyone but my son who would know if I was lying about a product and I wouldn’t want that. Thanks again. Really appreciate it. |
