#1. PERVERSION 2.0 - As a homage to Chris Kenner's famous 'Perversion' routine, Kim uses BDSM to flip-reverse reality and mess with your spectator's mind. The card turns upside-down, the deck turns upside-down, then their mind turns upside-down.

#2. LEATHER FACE - This is card-to-wallet, with the spectator holding the wallet from the very beginning. Imagine this as a proposition bet, you bet your money before they select or sign a card. With an empty hand, you unzip your wallet and it's there. Straight-up Wizardry.

#3. MUFFIN CHANGE - Do you know the muffin man? THE MUFFIN MAN! Kim does, he'll show you how to use the Muffin Man's most powerful routine, changing a random card into their signed selection by reverse palming it from the center. As smooth as spreading hot butter on warm toast.

#4. FOOT FETISH - Okay, we're willing to go on record and say this is the best 'card to shoe' routine we've ever seen. No set-up, no forces and ultra-clean. Can anyone comment on difficulty? I don't mind practice but the "F@*%'s with your fingers" line has me cautious.

With Scott, though, in wondering what the difficulty is like on this one.

And if you watch 'til the end, Kim doesn't actually say "F#*%'s with your fingers"... he says "it really F#*%'s UP your fingers." That's kinda worse! He was prob kidding...

The trailer was very entertaining! You can see by the reactions that these routines have been performed many times by Kim. Looks great.

It's got a couple bits that are definitely going to require practice. I had a bit of a pat-the-head-rub-the-tummy situation when I was trying it out.

This move is great (and invisible) in Kim's hands but will take practice to get it as automatic as he performs it. As Kim mentions, it is related to Jennings' Immediate Bottom Placement, Marlo's Convincing Control, Buck's DMB Control, and Akerman's Convincing Control Palm.

Difficulty wise, it's not crazy hard, if you already use any of the moves listed above then I think this will come much easier. If there is any disappointment that this move is not entirely new and quite similar to other variations, I think Kim makes up for it with the routines. The version of Inversion is fantastic with a really eye-popping reversal in the second phase (in the trailer). Card To Shoe and Card To Wallet are both squeaky clean. Explanations are very clear and the almost 40 minutes of Kim on the streets of London is a nice bonus.


Somewhat related side question: Are there any differences at all between the Immediate Bottom Placement and Convincing Control? I didn't think so, but I feel Jennings always gets shafted on crediting. As I understand it Jennings came up with the move first, the actions (not method) were described to Marlo who came up with the same move and published it with no credit to Jennings.

For a normal card worker I really wonder how much practice and effort it will take to get this down perfectly? Anyone want to share if this is 10 hours and you got it or 400 hours? I love the look here but I jhust don't want to put in the time for this if it is going to take months to master with nightly sessions. I have other ways to get there. BUT if this is a 10 or 20 hour effort, I'd be in!

The claim is ********. But I like Kims style. If you are not familiar with the the dmb spread control or similar moves, this download is a no brainer. If you are, you still find worth in Kims teaching. His performances are fun to watch and you will find there nice details as well. Well worth the 16$.

To give my 5 cents in terms of difficulty: You will need some practice, but it is not a clip shift. If you are an advanced card worker, you should have it down in a few days.

Bible Discussion & Study Meeting

I purchased this download over the weekend and I really enjoyed watching it!

Firstly, the Ellusionist team are on point with their production on this. It's enjoyable to watch a two hour and 15 min tutorial that was shot professionally with good quality sound and cameras. The tutorial has numerous slow motion shots of the moves from different angles. Also, it's rare to see a download with so many real life performances that you can use as reference. You can tell that Kim must have been using this control and some of these routines for years.

The download is structured as follows:
A long segment of performances for real groups of people in different situations (sitting down, standing up, standing outside, drunk people etc.)
An explanation of the control/sleight used plus history and credits
A series of routines that can be performed using variations of the sleight/control

The standout routine is the card to shoe. It's one of those routines that will make you smile as much as the audience. It must however suit your style. I can't imagine taking off a formal shoe while at a wedding. It's more of a jeans and sneakers thing...

The control is not the easiest to learn, but nothing that most 'card guys' won't be able to perfect with a few days/weeks of practice. I've been performing a variation of this control already, so it wasn't that difficult to adjust what I'm already doing. I can confidently say I'll be able to perform the card to shoe routine for real people at my next gig in early October.


I'd recommend this download for beginner to intermediate card magicians as you may learn something new. Advanced magicians may already know or use variations of the moves and could probably achieve similar routines.

Im playing around with this control for weeks now...
Its not only a convincing control, but a sneaky, flowing way to palm a card aswell.
Once you have it down, it feels natural.

The performances and how Kim handles his spectators are a very nice bonus.

After Silver Edge 1+2 and bdsm Im definitely a fan of Kims work.
You can feel he put much work into his projects / routines and this project hasnt been "thrown" into the market like many other downloads, which were published fast because of covid.

As I said before: For 16$ this download is no brainer 😎
