Hi! I'm looking for the name of a move - it's driving me crazy! Maybe you can help me?
It's the one where you hold two rings in one hand, one ring hanging from the other. Your other hand/arm goes through the top ring and grabs the bottom ring, turn it paralell to the floor, pull it through the top ring, separating them. I hope I explaned it well enough Thanks, and take care! |

Yes, you described it very well. I have seen several performers use this over the years while attending magic conventions.
Not all sequences have names in magic, as it is handling of the props. I can only suggest you may have luck if you contact Levent, and see if his Linking Rings DVD set has this provided. http://www.leventmagic.com/ I would contact him first using the contact information on his website. He is full time professional magician as well, and travels the world. |

It is called the Pull Through Unlink and was published in the Dai Vernon Book of Magic by Lewis Ganson .
Perhaps it might also be a component of the Symphony of the Rings snd possibly found in the manuscript of that same title

I know Pop Haydn uses this move in his four ring routine, which you can purchase as a download from his site or other online dealers like Penguin or Vanishing Inc.
Linking Rings start at about the 10 minute mark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Db8f6-y1DYU |

There’s a move that is similar but I like even better in Chris Capeharts routine. You grab the lower ring.
It’s super fast and it looks impossible. |
