Well, I guess we that subscribed to Ryan's End of Times will not receive the remainder of the issues and extras that he promised that he would deliver.
He should deliver what he promised since we paid $100 and only received two issues. Any thoughts from anyone else who subscribed? Can anything be done about this? |

Has anyone reached out to him?

Jerry Sadowitz is currently issuing my favourite magazine, ‘The Dodo’ fairly regularly.
The excellent ‘Magicol’ and ‘Ye Olde Magic Mag’, both covering history, are also available. |

I have left emails to Ryan on his website but he has not returned any of them regarding End Time subscription.
I only received 2 booklets and 1 extra (for $100). This is what he promised: Four issues a year, subscribers will also receive an “Extra” issue three times a year featuring 30 more pages of amazing routines from the best creators in magic. These extra issues are ONLY available to subscribers. What is amazing is that it is still advertised on his website to purchase. He is a contributor for Richard Kaufman at Genii magazine. I am thinking about emailing Richard and ask him to ask Ryan are we ever going to get the remainder of our subscription. Any thoughts out there of those who subscribed? If he is not going to deliver the remainder of the subscription, he should reimburse the subscribers some money. |

I really just want Ryan to be honest and let us, the subscribers, what is going on and what his intentions are.
Very bad business!! |

Oops...
......let us "know" what is going on.... Accidentally left "know" out of sentence. |

Maybe Richard Kaufman will read this thread....and go ahead and check with Ryan. |

The way I figure is this.....
The promise is 4 issues and 3 extras per year. (total of 7 items per year) So, I have only received 2 issues and 1 extra or 3/7 of the per year promise. $100 times 3/7 is $42.86. Therefore, I haven't received 4/7 of the subscription. Which is $100 times 4/7 = $57.14. If Ryan doesn't deliver the rest of the agreed promised subscription....he should reimburse $57.14. Anyone else out there agree? |

Just sent the following email to Richard Kaufman at Genii magazine:
Hi Richard. No issues at all with Genii magazine. You are doing a wonderful job with the magazine. However, I do have a favor I wish that you would do for me and several of my magic friends that have the same issue. I know that Ryan Matney is a contributor to Genii magazine and you have contact with him. I have all of Ryan's materials (books, booklet, etc). I think he is a great guy and publishes awesome material. But, I have tried many times to reach out to him by email (gotten from his magic site and retro rocket sit) and he has not replied back at all concerning the following issue). My concern (and others) is the subscription to his quarterly "End of Time" magazine. He promised 4 issues a year and 3 extras a year (7 total items per year). I, and my friends, have only received 2 issues and 1 extra since subscribing. We just want to know his intentions about the subscription to his loyal supporters. Now, I know this is not your problem at all and I really hate to even bother you with this, but I cannot get Ryan to reply and let us know anything. I was hoping that you could reach out for us and as Ryan about it since he is on your Genii staff. Thank you so much! Sincerely |

Just received this email back from Richard Kaufman's assistant....
Hi Doug, Thanks for your note. I shared it with Richard and he says that Ryan is well aware of his debt to his subscribers, and Richard does not know why he won't answer his emails. Best |
