This thread would have screwed me up if I had read it before getting my cull down.
There's so much different advice and it's all correct. I think for some of us the key to this one is not thinking and just doing. Anyways, now that I've actually paid attention to what I'm doing, lol, I'm a finger tipper both for individual cards and RR. I never noticed this, but my right fingers are constantly swirling and making motions in the cards while waiting to get to the cull card(s), looks like this acts as a bigger motion to cover the smaller motion so there's no noticeable *zip* underneath the right hand block. If I hold the cards deep, I can only get a little bit of wrist action movement and not the big swirly movements the fingertip hold allows me to get. I also push the left card underneath the right block before grabbing it, so there's no *zip* at all to be seen.
