I bought one of them from Cellini when he was here on his lecture tour.
But I really didn't have a clue what to do with it, even though I saw Jim do it in the lecture, until I got the Magic You Can Do Anywhere dvd. That really covers it! I just did a routine using a Sports Illustrated magazine cover, and pulled a "baseball" right off the page (it visibly went from a picture of a baseball to a black spot) and became a small baseball right in my hand. I then used that baseball with the magazine cover to do a combination of Joe Carsons Chinese Egg Bag moves, and Slydini's magazine moves. It was done in an relatively intimate stage setting, with an audience of about 60, and the reaction was terrific. The best part was the look on their faces when I pulled the ball off of the page... (Don't ask for the method. It is too good to give away, and I am still working on the overall routine with the intention of also producing a small baseball and and also a small ball glove with different methods than the baseball.) Anyway, when I got done, I put the ball back on the magazine page in front of everyone and handed the magazine cover out for examination and I took my bows! The ball is definitely printed on the page. It only takes a little practice but the loop ball is a great tool. I am also working on putting a normal ball into the routine just to fry the magicians who who start thinking..loop ball... The Cellini ball is multiple layers of paint, sanded between coats, and is very rugged. The price may seem a little steep for what you are getting. But until you get it and use it, you won't appreciate the value of the work in it, and the impact it can have in a performance. BroDavid

Koz,
Don't want to be a nag, but from what shop and when do we buy the Cellini Street Deux? I feel we're getting real close, right? Thanks. Jim

Yes we are close-- it's a matter of a couple of weeks I believe--they are done and at the replicators, the art is done, it's just done...waiting for the discs. That's about it. We are no longer working on that project. We have moved on and are currently working on the most important video to be released in the last 20 years. It's called "As I Recall" and I tell you what... this is frickin' great stuff. It's about the most important magi of our time: Slydini, and the magic on this dvd is just beautiful. No other way to say it. If you don't buy this dvd, you have no respect for the art. It should be the biggest selling dvd of the year. It will be released September 15th. I promise you....this is amazing stuff!

Koz,
Sounds very interesting. Let me guess: this new project is Jim Cellini recreating a Slydini lecture/class? Is that it? Jim

No...it's just Slydini's magic and other things about the guy that people don't know. A little life stuff, and Jim is going to all the clubs in the U.S. lecturing on the subject. It's gonna be good. I'm just tellin' you, this stuff is awesome. We are working with this new guy, Lonnie Chevrie from Texas....very good stuff. All plays big. You will like him.
