I have been trying to learn the sub trunk and found out it's not that easy. I have an idea to incorporate two methods of the illusion to make the illusion faster. Has anyone ever thought of using the upper version and the back version? What are your thoughts?

People have been using that option for many years. It does lead to having the drawbacks of the back version.

Yes, a double system is quite common. I believe it was the Majestics that first started doing this, but I may be wrong... I do recall seeing them do one of the most smooth and amazing exchanges long ago... not your normal high energy bit.
There are some methods around for doing the exchange faster but I dare not mention them here. I'll only suggest that you think about the obvious a bit. Forget what you know about "how the trick works" and look at it from an alternate angle. There are two methods that may come to mind that are presently used with great success. One of which very, very few folks are privy to. |

Well I was thinking about this for a while. I like the idea but not at the same time for me. For those with the packing crate style that collapse why not have interchangable parts to convert from one method to the other.
