Personally,
I find what has made the United States, such a great country, is has been (had been?), to a certained extent: the sepraration of Religion and State. It seems obvious, to me; 'Entertainment' and State should somehow be,....'controled'? ,....i never liked that word. 'Entertainment',,..like sports/sportlers, TV (Reality) Stars, Movie Stars,...Pop Musicians,.... How? Neccessary? ,...am I 'off' here? ,...i'm probably 'late', or missed(!), the original discussion. 😐 Any way. I would really appreciate some thought, to ease my werried mind. gallagher |

I never thought it was a great idea to mix entertainment with politics. Mostly that is why entertainment exists is to escape that nonsense. Also you automatically alienate half the crowd.
Those who do political satire or are drawing because of it are obviously different. But to turn sports into a platform has not been great for their bottom line.
