I leave the birthday "person" holding a prediction. So I make a big deal out of them holding the envelope (above their head high ion the sky etc )and then go into an effect, such as "think of a word" and talk about how impossible it is to predict what word anyone could name, bla bla bla and then say...thank you, goodnight. and I leave. that's for close intimate stuff anyway. hope it helps

After a reading routine with tarot cards I've left the chosen tarot card and a positive reading for the birthday person! I have also left written fortunes as part of a routine and lapis stones used in an effect. There are lots of things that can be left with the birthday person that will be memorable!

If you do spoon bending in your routine, you could have them sign the spoon before you bend. If you want to do this with a plastic spoon check out Werry's spoon bending effect.

I use Magic Squares - I either create one where each row, column and diagonal (plus loads of other combinations) add up to their age, or one where their birth date (e.g. 30,5, 19, 59) forms the top row. You can find out a bit more on my website.

Or bend the fork that he ate cake with!

I have also, for a larger event, predicted the presents they would receive. This worked out far better than I thought as the message read "you will have to go back to the supermarket with that second Britney Spears Album, after all, one is enough!" this went down a storm! hope it helps

I always leave the birthday person (or host) with a bent fork - this allows them to be the center of attention after the show because people come up to examine it.
