I know Tim Wisseman makes a nice gaffed EM meter, so, what other gimmicked ghost hunting equipment is on the market? I might move this thread down to the Crypt

You could use something like Gh0st/M@chine from Dan Baines with a legit ghost box and do some cool stuff that way

Yep he did, I have one & it's really cool retro ghost detecting device !

& how about the very simple (& non electronic) ghost glass bell, crystal glass suspended from a thread & stick. Very effective & believable.

I forget the exact name of it, but Outlaw Effects had a mechanism that you assembled in front of the participants and that you could have light up whenever a ghost presence was about. It's a bit finicky to set up, but it looks great. I believe Tim was the one who made them. You can catch a glimpse of it in my old show promo video: https://youtu.be/6XToa8xHzek

Our ghost hunting is probably a bit different but I like this item. It isn't made for ghost hunting but once you give it to them they will yell and you can find them.

Professor Philemon Vanderbeck - it looks like "Etherica" by Outlaw Effects. A great / bizarre spirit lamp!

Firefly is an improved version of Etherica, but I like Etherica better, although Firefly would seem more reliable. Tim does great work and I have several of his items.

If your doing a show and a house light, or all the lights, go out, it creates a cool boo for the easily startled.
But I have been to several Haunted Attractions where I was give a remote control flash light that (first time out),REALLY blew my mind. Once was at Universal Studios, and the second was at Delusions in Hollywood I think.

Not an effect exactly, but taking light away from someone who THINKS they are in control of it during a ghost hunt, could be down right evil.

I imagine Tim or several others on this site could create the same for you if you were interested.
