Hey guys...
I just picked this up today, and I really haven't been exposed to any Marlo before. I am pretty good with cards, so the skill involved with the things in the book do not scare me. But I am just not sure I actaully like this book. It was an expensive one at that and It seems to be tons of palms, multiple shifts, etc, which I am not sure I really need. Now I am also very over whelemed. There is just so much information I have no where to begin. Do any of you guys maybe have favorites or anything from the book? Also I felt it was a lot of money to learn almost not actual effects. Last, It seems like it would be a good thing to have for refrence, as it seems to be layed out a lot like Bobo's. It seems that this is the Bobo's for cards. Maybe I will keep it just for that value. But again I am not sure If I might sell it or what. So one last time, does anyone have any favorties or anythign from this book?
Check out my new effect "As Good As It Gets" a gimmickles pencil or pen through bill effect. It closely mimmicks the slow motion phase of "Misled." About "As Good AS It Gets" for no gimmicks and everything being borrowed.

You might want to look at M.I.N.T. #1 & #2 for good, workable routines that are not too involved.

The chapter on the Faro Shuffle (page 153) is very helpfull if, like me, you want to do it perfect.
Michael Close has stated once that he learned the Farao Shuffle out of this text. Peo

The effect reads a little "dry" but put a little of your own personality into it and you've got a winner. Jake |

Go for Seconds, Centres and Bottoms and the Chapter on Faro. If you are interested in different palming techniques, the section on Action Palms will appeal to you.
I know that the amount of material in the book is overwhelming, but DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT EVEN THINK OF SELLING THE BOOK, YOU WILL BE SORRY! |
