Years ago back in the 70s and 80s there was a magic Creator name Bob Jackson Who put out wonderful wonderful effects I would love to know if this is the same person? If so there was a creation he did where you take out a deck of cards you fan off several from the deck square up the deck put it into a box cover it then you take the cover off and the deck of cards has completely vanished and you're left with an empty box absolutely wonderful apparatus.

Eric, I believe the Bob Jackson you reference is in fact Robert Jackson. I think he made two versions of the Impossible Deck Vanish, one plain and one more ornate as shown here:
https://www.martinsmagic.com/allmagic/cl......oodworks Another version by Bob Kline appears here: https://www.martinsmagic.com/allmagic/cl......ob-kline And by Woodmagic Studio here: https://www.martinsmagic.com/allmagic/cl......diokline Less expensive versions by TCC, Rob Bromley, The Trickery, G&L and others were also created, along with a slew of knock offs.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

I've not seen Mel Babcock's version in person, but it is listed on his web site. He states his is an improved version, but I do not know what that improvement is...? Julie |

Well I have to admit after seeing those pictures that is exactly the way the apparatus that I referenced looks like. It would be interesting 2 know for sure. I really enjoyed the one I had and would definitely like to purchase another one.
