Has anyone here bought these Alan Ackerman DVDs? I did, but I am having trouble getting them to play. Basically I cannot get them to act like normal DVDs. For one thing, I cannot get past the opening introductory screen with that silly music, it just repeats. There is no menu that can be clicked to reach specific sections. Is this common or did I get a lousy bunch. They were purchased from one of our well-known online shops-they are not pirated reprints.

It appears that playing DVDs on a computer may not be equivalent to playing them on a television DVD player. On my television, the loaded Acketman DVDs play as expected. Live and learn.
