Hi, I think both are great options, I know Ruben and Salted 2.0 and is a great product, I used to own one. GAPS and Salted are very different tools, and have very different arrange of options, manipulations and uses. I cannot really discuss it without talking methods, but it depends mostly on what you want to do with your routine. Maybe the best thing is to try both...

Can rice be used?

You can use rice but being much bigger than salt grains, the quantity would be less, but you can use it, or use the reload techniques of the tutorial, or have a second gimmick. Any help that I cam provide please contact me
