This trick made me question my masculinity.
Background, I've been using the same bubble for over a decade, it was turning yellow so I set out on a journey for a replacement, and WHAT a grand journey it was! twists turns danger, incredible sights! I bought it on Amazon. What is it, It included a dvd an instruction book a bottle and 4 bubble balls. I watched the dvd first. It adequately explained using the props, it also had a video of Geoffrey buckingham for some reason, and to really add to the value, instructions for several random tricks including but not limited to "cross cut force" and "flip stick". Quality, the balls are the same as the other one I had, they have a seem going around each bubble but it's not noticeable from more than a few feet. Some folks find these balls slippery but I haven't had a problem there. There not perfectly round, so they sometimes sit odd in the gimmick, But not as bad as "glitter balls" which I also own. (Shudders) They do have a slight chemical smell that gets on your hands, I'm actively sniffing my hand as I write this review. My main problem is the size, I saw a kid on youtube review it and say they were a little too small for his hands, I repeat a KID. I have the opposite problem, I find these 1.4 inch bubble balls marketed to kids to be too big for my little girl hands. As I realized this, my failure led to self doubt, and my self doubt led to questioning my masculinity. But finally after much time trying to get all four balls to fit in my hand i was...Triumphant. Durability, The last one lasted a decade so they should be good for a while. Rating: I give this a 4 out of 5. Any questions fill free to ask. |
