I remember an ad for a Native American-run casino. (I really can't remember if it was "Foxwoods" or "Mohegan Sun." But they ran an ad stating that they were looking for employees for the casino and ended it with;
"And (this casino) practices Native American preferences in hiring, and is an Equal Opportunity Employer" uh, no. You can practice "preferences in hiring" or you can be an "Equal Opportunity Employer," I can't see how you can do both!

When I first drove into Tennessee years ago I spotted a sign on a large building: "First Blessing Church and Cattle Auction"
I am not sure if is a multi-purpose hall on difference days or a bit of truth about their preaching. (Name of church changed from actual)

Years ago I was driving back roads of rural Georgia. Off to the side was a beat up piece of plywood with MEAT SKINS spray painted on it...
I did not stop to sample their wares...
