I just wanted to post that I received a new Bluether Hopping Half set today, comprised of a Morgan Silver Dollar and a Queen Victoria Copper "Ancient Coin".
These were purchased through Amazon for $25.99 plus tax and shipping. These are BEAUTIFUL and exceed the quality of My Johnson Hopping Half 1/2 Dollar sets in every way. HIGHLY recommended. |

I don't think Bluether sells on Amazon. If you bought them there, it was most likely a knock-off brand. "blue-ther" (who I've seen) is a different company.

I may have purchased the last set they had in stock on Amazon.

I haven't once rejected your claim that the set is good quality. However, you do seem to be unwilling to acknowledge my point: the set that you're claiming as Bluether is _not_ made by them. Bluether does not advertize a HH set on their website, and they do not sell through Amazon. Since I have emailed them in the past, I do happen to know that they do have a HH set, but they also confirmed at the time that the seller "blue-ther" (which you linked to) is not them. I don't know what more I can say here. I'm glad you like it, but wanting (and misleading naming) doesn't make it any less of misbrand. |

Blu-ether or Blue-ther products are hacks (Oliver Magic, Lion Magic) and do NOT get close to Bluether Magic quality! I have a Bluether HH and the Morgan Face is almost impossible to distinguish from a genuine Morgan. If you want to see pictures of a real Bluether set PM you email. Peace, Steph

Wow, thanks for the heads up on "Blue-ther". Even if the quality is OK, I'd refuse to buy knock offs.

The "real" Bluether Company responded to my inquiry. They are out of stock. See their response below:
"I am truly sorry to tell you that the CSB 2.0 has been sold out and we are not sure when it would be restocked according to the production of our company. If it was restocked, we would inform you through email. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Anybody purchase the jumbo Kennedy half or Morgan from Bluether? I ordered one of each solely on the photos. No photo of the Morgan, but the Kennedy half looks sharp, and is milled around the edge. The way a coin should look if enlarged to a jumbo.

Calvin: look up Joe Berman on Facebook and message him. He is the US distributor from Bluether coins. He should give you a better idea of availability.
Thanks Steph

I purchased a Hopping Half set from Joe at the Magic Castle swap meet recently and it is indeed fantastic. At the time he said maybe a week or two in terms of having the CSB sets back in stock. Their stuff is really nice and I'll definitely be buying from them again.

I have not received a response from Joe for a few weeks. I tried his email and face book messenger.
