Hey all,
I would like to make a series of cardboard type postcards to age. They need to be 4 x 6 with artwork on one side and printing on the other. Can't seem to find a playing card company that will print on cardboard so I'm figuring I have to print stickers maybe, then age the cards, then do a protective coating. Any ideas on any of the three steps would be appreciated. |

Print the postcards on cardstock and then distress them...
- Stain with coffee or tea - Scrub with dust/sand - Lightly sand with 200 grit sandpaper - "Bang" corners and edges - Bake in low temp oven If staining with liquid. Make sure you let cards dry long time after printing to let ink set. Many modern inks will run when they get wet. If you print your own, it allows you to try new distressing methods and ensures you always have supply of props
