I'm a street performer and I'd like to add cigarettes in my routine.
I came across the videos called Expert Cigarette Magic by Tom Mullica. However, I'm only planning to buy one video. The Expert Cigarette Magic has 3 volumes. I'd like to ask if what video among the three is suitable for a street performance that has visual hard hitting tricks? here is a tricklist of the volumes. VOLUME 12 - Basic Slights & Theory, Distance Light, Swivel Vanish, Lorayne Vanish, Cigarette on Forehead, Cigarette Gymnastics, 4-Cig Production, Pantomime Cig #1, Double-Ended Cig, Cig Vanish in Hank #1, Cig Vanish in Hank #2, Cigarette Sneeze, Vegas Carpet, Little Butt, Rising Cigarette, L.L. Move, Cigarette Up Nose, Blown Away, Cigarette Dropper, Smoke Ring, and Tonguing. VOLUME 13 - To-Bac Routine, Card IS Cigarette, Routined Vanish, New Year's Cigarette, Ashes Through Hand, Cork-Tip Cigarette, 4-Cig Production, Behind the Ear Vanish, Jumping Cigarette, Torn N' Restored Cigarette Paper, Orange You Gonna Do A Cigarette Trick?, Yell Vanish, AEROBIC, Justice Stamp-Out, One from 20, Light Up, Cellophane Surprise, Rolling A Cigarette, Pipe Dream, Pantomime Cig #2, plus Tom's FISM Act. VOLUME 14 - Rings From Pack, Twisted Cigarette, Two Cigarettes from One, Cigarette Thru Quarter, Torn N' Restored Cig #1, Torn N' Restored Cig #2, Chink-A-Chink, No Burn, Buck Teeth, Smoke Cocktail, Poca-Cola, Saliva Vanish plus Complete Performance and explanation of 'Nicotine Nincompoop', the Cigarette and Napkin-Eating, Act and a performance only of Tom's world-famous stage act I'd appreciate the replies to this post. thanks. |

These are the only three videos that my local magic store has. What do you recommend?

If you can afford only one video for now, get number 12 and study the basics. I'm sure once you can do that well many ideas and variations will come to your mind. There's also the Encyclopedia of Tricks With Cigars and Cigarrettes by Keith Clark. See if you can find it.

Federico is right. get the first volume and learn the stuff on their because I'm not sure but maybe the volumes build on eachother. so get the first one. once you master it you will decide whether to get the next 2 volumes
