Any tips on how to construct a paper "pouch" or throw mechanism for Cressey style throw streamers? I want something that will stay compact and be easy to "break" open when ready.
Also, anybody know of a US dealer with Kabuki streamers in stock? Thanks. |

Here's a tip for holding Cresey streamers. Use the cardboard tube from an empty roll of toilet paper to hold the streamers. You can cut it in half to hold one set of streamers, or put a set in each end to hold two sets. Leave the tails hanging out and they will be ready when you need them.

Viking is out, but I just ordered from Hank Lee's yesterday. Viking has been out for a while.

Cresey throw streamers come with instructions to bundle 3 or 4 streamers together. Use a piece of tissue paper cut like a "+" sign. I have used it for some time and it works great.

Here's something I've come up with that works for me. Use it if you like. Take a 1.5 inch PVC slip cap and put 3 Cresey streamers inside. Tape the tails on the outside of the cap. Cover the cap with tissue paper secured with a rubber band. All that's left is to break the tissue paper during performance and throw the streamers. The pack stays tight until you are ready to release them and you don't have to look at the streamers or feel where the tails are. Just hold on to the cap.
