I am using the Invisible Deck in a routine in my first parlour show, which is in a couple days. In order to get a few more laughs and a few more minutes out of the routine, I added the following to my basic ID routine...
I borrow a $20 or $50 from an audience member, let's say Jane gives me $20. As I take her $20, I ask her to hold a deck of cards, and make sure nobody opens it, because there is a prediction inside. I state that Jane's $20 is our wager. I then choose a volunteer to actually do the trick for me, let's say Paul. I then do a few comedy bits about the money, such as "who gave me this $20?"..."I did (Jane raises her hand)"..."you did? Thanks! Show's over folks!". After a bit of joking like that, I explain how Jane has a chance to win back her money...all Paul has to do is be able to read my mind. If he reads my mind correctly, she wins her $20, if not, then Paul, myself, and the $20 are going out to dinner later! I then go into the standard ID routine I always use, where I hand Paul an invisible deck of cards, he shuffles them, chooses one, etc. I then go over to Jane and take the deck from her, spread through the cards and reveal one card facedown. I say to Jane, "I bet your really hoping this is the same card that Paul chose, huh?". It is, and of course, she wins her money back. Any thoughts about adding the stipulation of a borrowed wager to the ID effect?

I like your idea.
The credit goes to the spectator (like in the Malone's version), I think it's better.
