Could someone tell me where I can find the proper supplies to make the gimmick for this effect?
I have been to Office Depot, Kinko's, and a few other places, but none have anything that is both the proper paper weight and color. I hope this makes sense to those who own the effect. Any help in finding a supplier would be greatly appreciated. Micheal Leath |

Just a tip I've heard: Try clipping the margins from newspapers.
Or try taking a deck, holding it down on a copier and using the copy...then you have lines and everything. |

Great idea Daegs! That way you don't have to make those pencil lines that is quite tedious to do.

Another tip for those who have:
Add a small square of double sided tape(a little dirty so it wont stick too good) near the "buisness end" but far enough from the end so it doesn't rip anything. Put it on the opposite side from where the second card rest. When closed, the gimick will lock in the second card and the tape will secure it, allowing you to more freely handle the thing without any fears of opening. |
