Luke Jermay's booklet '7 Deceptions' has some nice impromptu things in it. Some of the stuff mixes nicely with cold reading. There is also a nice little piece of impromptu voodoo in 'Mind, Myth and Magic' by T.A Waters. The effect is called 'SOREcery'.

I guess another effect could be cloud busting. Anyone had any luck with it? It seems straight forward. Docc Shiels shows and kind of tips it.
I have been dabbling with it, but I have not divined the correct conditions and cloud type to make it fool proof. I am doing readings at the local Renn Faire, and if the sky is right a few clouds will get burst today. "For it shows things that were, and things that are, and things that yet may be.
