Try Magic by Post here in the UK. I bought a copy about 6 weeks ago from them. |

Bobo is great! But in my opinion, sometimes is very difficult to understand all the handlings. I'm French and even if I have a dictionary, I have to read the same pages again and again to master what Bobo want to explain. But it is still a very good reference.

If you like fun, off-beat stuff then the Ross Bertram books are excellent and they are still available from Lee Jacobs. Based on the question you asked I'd recommend starting with Bertram on Sleight of Hand since it has more off-beat sleights and quick tricks than his other book, Magic and Methods. The other book has more routines, along with some good magic history. Both are excellent and contain some clever ideas that I rarely see used.

Here some older titles on coins which are worth finding:
"The Buckley trilogy - PRINCIPLES and DECEPTIONS" by Arthur H. Buckley "AL SCHNEIDER ON COINS" by Al Schneider "Magic and Methods of Ross Bertram" and "Bertram on Sleight of Hand" by Ross Bertram "BUFFALOE´D - The Magic of Jim Buffaloe" by Jim Buffaloe Do not forget the many DVDs available on this topic. |
