I always found watching Albert Goshman a source of inspiration for when he vanished a coin.
Now I'm not talking about when he would hide a coin underneath a shaker, (though he did have some very bold methods of doing it), I found the one that was the most amazing was when he would vanish a coin and then he would talk to the spectator. Coin in classic palm and vanished as quickly as it supposedly went into the hand. Now I'm only going by the video I have seen of him, but it seemed that he was always doing that. No ditch, no wiped clean methods, but his force of will and believe that the coin has now vanished. Just something different to throw in, aside from gimmicks and new and strange techniques. |

I always carry a silk with me, so all I do is do a false transfer and then reach into my pocket with the hand that is holding the coin to grab the silk. I ditch the coin and remove the silk and then use the silk over the hand the spectators think the coin is in and shake it and the coin is gone. Sometimes I will even load on my TT and after I use the silk to make the coin vanish I will finish by making the silk vanish as well.
