I live in France and most of the time when I order
a book or a prop I order it in the US. I usely pay a huge amount for shipping ( 3 books shipping US 49) Fellow European friends perhaps it is possibly to combine orders or to set up a european mental shop? PS I am not interested in Penguin stuff, but I like books, dvd's and props in the mental area. Most European shops do not sell. |

Sorry for all the english speakers, I was just naming a few websites. |

Ceeswing,
I also live in France. I buy most of my magic in the US. With an extremely favorable Euro/Dollar exchange rate, I don´t see how you can go wrong. Have you seen prices in France and compared them to anything in the US? Even with cost of shipping you still do well. HOCUS POCUS. com has excellent offers for members. You can often buy products for 25% less. There´s your shipping! One more thing. You want to know one of the best places in the world to buy magic at great prices? Right here at the Magic Café. I think you may need a few more posts to access the "Let make a magic deal" section. I highly recommend it. Amicalement et bonne magie, José

I have been to every magic shop in Paris and there is very little in the area of mentalism. There are, of course, the expensive electronic devices, of Fabrice Delaure. The proprietors tell me that the mentalism craze is American and has not really caught on in France. England is closest and best.
