Hi
I want to start soing a spirit cabinet, but don't know the tie used to allow for a quick release. I believe it's the kellar tie?? not sure. Where can I find info about it?? Thanks for your help Alex

The Kellar tie is not the best tie for the spirit cabinet act.
Get your old Tarbell volume six out and check out page 309. Learn the Gysel spirit tie. It is the tie used by most professionals performing this routine (including Calvert). Abbott’s still sells a one page (front and back) of the Spirit Cabinet Act (about $30.00 or so) that clearly explains the necessary (Gysel) rope tie you also get a few props with the routine.
