I like Chris Randall's "Silverose".
You can find this routine in his "Sweet DVD". A very sexy coin production routine using half dollars, fire and a rose. This recture DVD is not my favorite. But this routine is beautiful. I think this trick is based on "Troy Hooser's Extraordinary"

Torn and Restored Paper heart. Tear it up again after restoring it then do Snowstorm in China with small red paper hearts (available through a couple of stores).
Single rose or Rose bouquet production. Jimmy

Where can I learn to do a single rose production?
I've used Kevin James's Floating Rose routine, but I want to lead into a more simple routine consisting of a rose production without fire. btw, what's snowstorm in china? is it like tossing confetti? Lance

Check out Lips from the Camirand Academy. Great card routine with a little flirt type action mixed into it also. I use it!

My personal favorite is one that I came up with, but maybe it has been done before, I don't know. Using two d'lites, I do the standard d'lite routine. You all know the one. Pass em from hand to hand, ear to ear, up the nose out the eye, in the mouth fart em out...... well maybe not for a romantic scene, but it still gets a laugh. In my pocket I have a rose (fake mind you, but realistic looking... real roses tend to crumble as they are quite fragile) with the stem cut off so it can be easily palmed.
I do the standard d'lite moves and after a while I start tossing them from hand to hand and placing them into my pocket (the one with the rose). Do this a few times so they get used to the action of the hand going into the pocket. I also pull lites out of the pocket that contains the rose as well. When you are ready to produce the rose, simply act like you are going to place the lite into the pocket (which you do) and ditch the d'lite and get the rose into finger palm position. Bring your hand out of the pocket with the concealed rose and produce another light from your other d'lite and place it into the fist that holds the rose. Wait a couple seconds and act surprised as if the lite is getting quite warm. Then blow on your fist to cool off your hand and produce the rose. Give it to the nearest lovely lady, and if you both are single, you might get a date. This happened to me once. And now I am married to her. You can also use the other d'lite for added misdirection before producing the rose. What do you guys think? Any suggestions or comments that might make it stronger? Anyway, that's more than my two cents. With the right patter, you might have to fight the ladies off with a stick. -Phil- aka streetmagicman

Sounds great street magic man. But what I am looking for is a single effect without a long routine you know what I mean? It has to be quick and effective. Your d'lite is impressive, no doubt, but I want something quicker.

Wow, never thought id say this to an older man but: don't mix a stripper deck or spongeballs with flirting (in that case, or alchohol)

I used to perform a coin routine ending with a Jumbo Coin
Then I would change the Jumbo into a chocolate jumbo Coin then hand it out. Used to be a place up the road where I could get 50c Jumbo Choc coins Not to good in summer, I think that's why I gave them up. The chicks love the chocolate. At one point I would hand the normal jumbo out and ask a spectator to try and bend it which they never could ( Jumbo must be super solid not plastic) then I would use a Tenkai palm- transfer -shuttle pass I(I don't know the correct name) and switch for the chocolate one and then bend or snap it it really looks bizar then hand it out you get a double wamy first they think you bent the jumbo coin then they realize it's chocolate. Of course your chok jumbo color must match your real jumbo. I even started the routine with Paul Harris Choclate coin - the one where you put some foil on a coin like the torn wall paper gag. It's a great complete circle of magic. and the chicks love the chcolate (didi I say that already) Dave |

Phil Thomas... A few years ago, I use to work in a massive nightclub, and we had lots of real roses in the VIP area, so I used to put one in pocket and maybe one in each sleev, I used to ues D'lite something similar to what you do, at the end I would produce one rose to one of the two or three ladies around, the other two would look as they feeling bad because they didn't get anything, so here I would, produce the other one or two roses just from no where just so every one gets a rose, if I liked to impress one only, the others would got just the light from the d'lites hehehehe

A superb routine is on Derren Brown's Devil's Picturebook, called Zamiel's Rose. A sure fire winner for those who need magic to attract the ladies!! (poor souls!)

Not sure if you want something to find a girlfriend or just a romantic piece of magic for the emotional factor, but this video is the "Finding a Girlfriend for Dummies" kind of video, including little tips between tricks on how to impress the ladies :-P. So, if you're looking for something just to add a romantic piece to your collection, then this may not be the best idea. If you want to get a date, go for it. (That's not why I have it! I swear, I'm innocent! LOL) Good luck! Dan |

One of my own silly quick flirt routines. Change a quarter into a silver chocolate kiss.
You can ask "have you ever been kissed by a famous quarterback?" Pull out the quarter tell them, "this quarter once belonged to (insert favorite famous person here)" "This is the front of the quarter and this is the back." Have the girl touch the quarter and it instantly changes into a chocolate kiss via a pinch vanish with the quarter sitting behind it. As the coin drops into their other hand state. "Now you've just been kissed by a famous quarter back." Silly I know. Best, Ace

I used the flying ring in Close-Up and Street Magic. if you do it by creating environment with the girl, you will arrive has to emphasize to him his emotions and the magic will come from here. It is still better
