Hi all,
Thanks for all the great posts! I'm a total newcomer to magic and have greatly enjoyed Lurking for the past couple weeks reading what everyone has to say. It's great to be in the company of such a large group of experianced magicians without having to, you know, change out of my pj's and leave the house. Anyway (sorry for that lengthy intro), I've been working my way through Bobo's and Ammar's Intro to Coin Magic, and I recently picked up Card College Volume 1. I'm having a great time and learning a lot, but I'm having some trouble with the Spread Cull. I can't seem to do it without a very noticable pause in the spreading process. Is this something that will come with time and practice, or might I be doing something wrong? |

Sorry its practice and more practice. Its down to muscle memory. Try this - do your pactice Thai Chi style - very slow and get the move right then slowly bring it up to speed. If you do this with all your magic you iron out all the problems. HTH Paula
