It has been annonced in Montreal's newspapers that Cirque du Soleil are in the process to create a new show. The Beatles and Cirque du Soleil are banding together to create a powerhouse theatrical production at the Mirage hotel-casino to replace the legendary Siegfried & Roy act that closed more than a year ago.
The new show should open in 2006. Johnny |

I love the Cirque...but I just wish I could afford to see it live.
200 bucks a pop on average.

Before everyone got into cirque, when they were just a touring circus group, I loved their work. My wife and I would go see their show every other year when they came around. I don't know what Paul and Ringo will bring to the table, but since they are not playing themselves, and since the hotel knows well the size of the boots they are trying to fill, the show will have to be well above all else that vegas has to offer.
I can't afford it either, but I sure wish I could

If you can't afford the tickets to a Cirque show in Las vegas, all you have to do is drop fifty grand or so at the craps table and they might give you a few FREE tickets.

If Paul is involved he may try to stop them from having live animals in the show. He is a big PETA supporter.

I believe that one of the founding principles of Cirque was the decision not to use any animals in their performances. Maybe that was part of what appealed to Paul about them in the first place.
