I want to add a better signed card to wallet routine, til' now I'v just been using my home-made alternative, but I guess it only fools my drunk Golf buddies.
I thought I'd take the step up and actually buy a "card to wallet", Size matters though, I want the smallest one (slightly bigger than a playing card of cause) and not more than $100. Any help will be appreciated. Jack.

Hi Jack,
Do you want a palm or no palm card to wallet? Gerard |

When you say business card wallet, I immediately jump to the gaffed business card cases, like the Ultimate Caper Case, the Sight Unseen Case by Mark Strivings, the Stealth Wallet by Peter Nardi, etc.
Card to Wallet wallets that I've seen tend to be large hip pocket size at the smallest, with Bendix Bombshell and others being QUITE large and usually displayed only as a suitcoat men's wallet. Frequently recommended here is the Pimpernel Notecase which is about the size of a hip pocket wallet. I've just gotten mine. I can recommend it for its workmanship, but I have yet to perform with it. I just compared the PN to a standard men's wallet that I have kept unused in a sealed mayonaisse jar. The gaffed wallet is 3 and 3/4" across; the ungaffed one is 3 and 1/2". But I can't do Card to Wallet with the ungaffed wallet. The question of smallest card to Wallet wallet is a good one. You want one to be big enough for a playing card and big enough to be easy to load. |

Ljgrant - That's exactly right, I want it to be easy to load, but not much bigger than a playingcard.
Magic carisio - It's not important if it's a palm/no palm wallet, as long as it's small:) Jack.

Steve Draun's Real Man's Wallet is very nice, works very well, and is fairly inexpensive. It fits your description above.

Hi Karl, I believe his looking for something smaller... I could be mistaken.
But anyway...the other day I was trying to find the "Real Man's Wallet" at a few sites and could'nt find it anywhere! I would really appreciate it if you could include a link for it. Thanking you, Gerard |

Wouldn't it be great of some online retailer decided to offer every gaffed wallet currently made, along with several multi-angled photos of each, at their website?
This way, prospective customers (like myself) could, in one sitting, see exactly what's available and much more easily and conveniently make informed buying decisions. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if the retailer who created such a web page saw a significant increase in sales of ALL kinds of wallets he sold because (as I could definitely foresee myself doing!) prospective customers might initially visit the site being primarily interested in, say, business card sized cases and then, after seeing the great variety of other, larger bill-sized wallets available, might wind up buying one or more of each kind. Alternatively, hopefully someone who's interested in wallets (and I know there are several collectors of gaffed wallets/business card cases here at the Café) but who's not selling them himself and who *also* knows how to create web pages could create a web page solely devoted to comparing the ins and outs (pun intended) of as many wallets that are currently in production as possible. Easier said than done, I know (especially as I wouldn't be the one making the effort to create the web page) but I have a hunch lots of people would appreciate such websites as described above.

Try this one: Thanks a million for that, mrj. I found it very helpful. It should probably be called the MOAWD (The Mother of All Wallet Discussions)!
