Does anyone have a review of this effect listed at Hank Lee's site?

It's an effect where a prediction is placed in a clip and then can be instantly vanished from sight allowing a perfect switch to take place.

Thank you for any input.

IT is called Mental Gimmick and it can be seen at Hank Lee' site in the Hot List section and at Houcs-Pocus stie in the new products section. It costs $75.00. I ordered one but I have not received it yet. I have an older version which uses a rubber band that activates the mechanism but this version uses a steel spring which should be stronger, more reliable and should not break like a rubber band.

It is a good and versatile utlity item that can be used in many differnt mentalism effects.

I believe the same wire activated clip was marketed a while ago without the stand. I ultimately returned it because it "talked" too much. The conception is excellent. Hopefully they've solved the problem.

This was originally marketed decades ago by Robert Nelson. This version is far superior to the rubber band version. To minimize the talking, allow your fingers to put a little "drag" on the item that is retracted.

Is this item simply an updated Ostin clip?
If so, $75.00???????????????

If it is well made, reliable adn there is no need to replace any rubber bands, and since it also comes with a stand, I do not think that $75.00 is really too much to pay. But again, just as beauty, price and value are in the eyes of the beholder.

Best regards,

Michael
