This is a total knock-off on Skinner's gaffes but there's no real HARM done seeing as Skinner is given credit, so I can only assume that Penguin has his blessing. The routine is different, but SO WHAT?? I came up with 3 different routines myself after first getting Skinner's set! What penguin SHOULD do is replace this effect with something a little more desireable in their bonus magic offer.
Everybody wants to beleive.....we just help them along.

In 1989, Mike Rogers released The Unconquered Card, which used similar gaffs as Skinner's Ultimate 3 Card Monte ( released in 1990 ). Both based on Eddie Taytelbaum's routine called "Find the Ace" ( from Dai Vernon's Ultimate Secrets of Card Magic ). The road winds back to Theodore L. DeLand;-) |
