I just wondering, why are you interest in that move?
Why don't you learn some cool Card SHooting?
Like Long Distance Spinner, Bullet Deal, Hot Shot Cut or Top Shot etc...
They are more amazing then the Instant Replay move.
But this is only my opinion!

This is an extremly difficult move and you must remember that mr blaine will mess up many tmes but obviously cuts that stuff out.

Instant reply /simple switch indeed a difficult move.
I learned it by slow mo the DB dvd. I learn to transfer a card from right to left, and then left to right, Left hand holding entire deck.
The hardest part is when you switch two cards at the same time.
I need around 2-3 months to learn this.
But hot shot cut sometimes give more applause than simple switch..

Hey guys.
I was in a magic club for a period of time and a guy taught me how to do this.
It is very simple when you get the hang of it.
But the original post was about when blaine says "watch this I will do it so fast you wont even see it" and how he did it there was a simple DL.
But the actual shooting of the cards was cool.
And when the guy taught me I could actually flick a double it was very coll and yes when you flickthe 2 cards at a timr they actually JUST miss eachother.
The move itself is beautiful and I was lucky enough to learn it.

The instant replay is easy, but using two cards takes some work

Ive been doin the simple switch for about 8 years and I have never perfromed it in any of my shows.Although sometimes I do Instant replay to reveal a card Simple Switch is a lot harder than some of these guys are saying most are lying. For the guys who say its easy do this split the deck in half one for each hand face up and switch the top card of each packet to the other.

If you have the right technique you can learn the basics in 10 minutes.
Well I don't know if I am a quick learner but I did.
The hardest part is doing two cards at once .
But just practice with one hand and then the other and then at the same time.

Well couldn't you just do that with a dl? I'm pretty sure that he did.

A DL wouldn't accomplish the "jumping" move they're discussing here.
No trees were killed in the making of this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
