So tonight I'm performing my Edgar Allan Poe Show for a local libraries Teen Read event. I've just finished the Purloined Perdiction and am about to start the Tell-Tale Teletubbie when the head librarian comes into the room to announce that the big event of the evening is just about to happen. The Lunar eclipse!
Everyone, including me goes out to the car park to see the gorgeous blood red moon hovering in the night sky. After the requisite Ooh's and Ahh's we all file back into the meeting room and pick up the show where I left off. Very rarely can one compete with Mother Nature in all her glory. Just had to share.

PS - I saw the eclipse from Sloss Fright Furnace here in Birmingham. Everything stopped during that time. Entertainers, monsters and customers alike just stood there staring at the sky.
